Why Effective PRO Services Are Vital

Legal Necessity: Foreign employees in the UAE must hold a valid Resident visa and work permit, essential not only for their employment but also for various non-business-related activities like opening a bank account, obtaining an Emirates ID, and securing power connections. Businesses also rely on PRO services to ensure compliance, as any lapses can result in fines or unfavorable circumstances.

Time-Saving Solution: Businesses are wise to delegate PRO tasks to professional consultants. The intricate legal processes associated with company formation and operation demand significant time and effort. Outsourcing to an external agency allows companies to focus on their core operations and fundamental matters.

  2. Tailored Solutions: We understand that the PRO requirements of each company, whether small, medium, or large, can vary significantly. Therefore, we adopt a personalized approach to address the unique PRO needs of each business.

  3. Proficiency in Arabic: Arabic language proficiency is a valuable asset when providing PRO services. Foreign and first-time investors may struggle to navigate the legal intricacies of company formation in Dubai and the UAE. Our team's fluency in Arabic facilitates effective communication and resolution of any dilemmas or difficulties.

  4. Efficient Ministry Coordination: Company formation involves a series of legal procedures and approvals from various agencies and Ministries. Our business consultants excel at coordinating with these entities, ensuring smooth license issuance processes without unnecessary delays.

Benefits of PRO

Compliance with expatriate rules and regulations in Dubai or the UAE can be challenging for newcomers. Navigating the intricacies of documentation for business setup and visa approvals can be overwhelming, particularly for those unfamiliar with the process. Failure to adhere to these regulations can result in serious legal consequences. Therefore, it is highly recommended that expatriates seek the assistance of an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to ensure compliance.

Effective Financial Planning: During the initial stages of setting up a business, budget allocation can be complex. A dependable PRO can play a pivotal role as your financial advisor, guiding you through this critical phase.

Time-Saving Solution: Managing all PRO-related documentation internally can be both time-consuming and resource-intensive. Outsourcing these tasks to an experienced agency can significantly reduce the time and effort required to operate a full-fledged in-house PRO department.

Cost-Effective Approach: Another significant advantage of outsourcing PRO services is cost-effectiveness. This encompasses the expenses associated with maintaining an in-house PRO department, including employee salaries and the costs related to handling documentation and clearances.

Avoiding Penalties: The UAE's federal laws pertaining to company formation and operation are stringent. Non-compliance with legal requirements and official procedures can result in financial penalties and fines. These issues can disrupt your company's operations and damage its reputation. Laws and regulations may change due to various factors, and expatriate entrepreneurs may not always stay updated on these changes. A dedicated and experienced PRO service provider is well-versed in these amendments and updates, as well as the political and economic landscape of the UAE. They proactively remind businesses of required documentation, associated fees, and due dates, helping prevent unpleasant situations and enhancing the company's credibility.

Transparent Transactions: Entrusting the PRO tasks to a reputable agency ensures transparency in all official procedures. The agency provides detailed invoices and receipts for various PRO services, ensuring that all transactions are transparent and legally sound.

Business Facilitation: An experienced and trustworthy PRO agency is not merely a service provider; it serves as a valuable business facilitator, bridging the gap between your business and government entities.

PRO Services in Dubai - FAQs

What is the process for obtaining an Emirates ID card?

If you are a UAE Citizen or hold a residence visa, you can apply for an Emirates ID through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (FAIC). This can be done at their customer centers across the UAE or online via the FAIC website. For first-time applicants, a visit to the FAIC is necessary to provide biometric data and have a photograph taken as part of the application process. After the application is processed, and the applicable fees are paid, it usually takes around 5-7 working days to issue the card. You can collect your Emirates ID card from your local Emirates Post office, where you'll need to present your passport and EID application form.

What are the required documents for processing a UAE residency visa?

- Copy of your passport - Ensure it has more than 6 months of validity and at least 2 blank pages.
- Photograph - A head-and-shoulders photo with no eyeglasses, a white background, high resolution, and in color.
- Attested education certificate - If required for the job title, it must be attested in the country of issuance and further attested in the UAE at MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
- Copy of your tourist visa/entry stamp, if you are already inside the UAE.
- Previous visa/EID/cancellation documents, if you have previously held a visa in the UAE.
- For nationals of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, a copy of their national ID card may also be required.
- DHA/HAAD approved health insurance - This is necessary to complete and stamp the visa in your passport.

What is the procedure for sponsoring my family in the UAE?

To sponsor immediate family members, such as a wife and children, a male in the UAE must hold a valid employment visa with an appropriate job title and a minimum monthly salary of AED 4,000. On the other hand, a female can sponsor her immediate family, including a husband and children, if she holds a valid employment visa with a job title such as engineer, teacher, doctor, nurse, or a profession related to the medical sector. For female sponsors, a minimum monthly salary of AED 10,000 is required.

Additionally, specific documents are necessary to process family visas, including attested marriage and birth certificates, a notarized tenancy contract, and a salary certificate. We offer assistance with family visa applications and are available to provide comprehensive details about the entire process and document prerequisites upon request.

What is the procedure for obtaining a labor quota to facilitate the application for a new employee visa?

To initiate the labor quota application process for your new employee visa, you have the option of applying through the Tasheel portal or visiting Tasheel offices located throughout the country. During this process, you will need to specify the quantity, gender, and job titles of the candidates you intend to employ in your quota application. It's important to note that the requested job titles must align with the activities permitted by your business license.

When applying for the quota, you should have a copy of your trade license on hand, along with translated project contracts that demonstrate your need for the specified number of employees. Your office will also undergo an evaluation by Taqyeem, a department within MOHRE, to assess whether it meets the requirements for your quota.

If you require further guidance or assistance, please feel free to contact us at PRO Partner Group. We can provide advice on suitable job titles that align with your needs and are compatible with MOHRE regulations.
